JOGS FALL, INDIA

  Jog Falls [6]  is a waterfall on the Sharavati river located in the Western Ghats of  Sagar [7]  Taluk of  Shivamogga  District, Karnataka, India. It is the third highest plunge waterfall in India. [8] [9] It is a segmented waterfall which depends on rain and season becomes a  plunge waterfall . The falls are major attractions for  tourists  and is ranked 36th in the list of free-falling waterfalls, 490th in the world by list of waterfalls by total height, 128th in the list of single-drop waterfalls in the World by the waterfall database.

SUZHOU, CHINA

PHANDER VALLEY, PAKISTAN

  Phander  ( Urdu :  پھنڈر ) is the name of a settlement and valley in the  Gupis-Yasin District  located in  Gilgit−Baltistan ,  Pakistan . It is situated about 184 Kilometers from  Gilgit on the road to the  Shandur Pass , which continues on to  Chitral . It is well known locally that there is a reason for naming this valley Phander, as "Phan" means palm in the local Khowar language and this place is flat like a palm, hence it was called Phander. This place is a tourist attraction.[citation needed] There are four lakes in this small valley, of which the Phander Lake is the largest. Phander is one of the few places where the Gilgit River divides into several strands as it enters the valley, which merge again upon exit from the valley.

LEMMER, NETHERLANDS

  Lemmer  ( West Frisian :  De Lemmer ) is a town in the municipality of  De Fryske Marren , in the  Dutch  province of  Friesland . Lemmer lies adjacent to the  IJsselmeer  and the  Frisian Lakes  and is one of Friesland's best-known  surface water sports  locations. Lemmer is a bustling lakeside resort in the summer months and attracts not only  day-trippers from surrounding communities such as  Emmeloord ,  Urk , and  Joure , but also national and international tourists. In 2017 the town had 10,225 inhabitants.[1] Residents of Lemmer are called Lemsters. Due to its favorable location in relation to the Randstad, Lemmer attracts many new inhabitants from outside Friesland. As a result, the village has suffered little from the effects of rural flight. The hamlet of Brekkenpolder also belongs to the town, along with most of the hamlet of Tacozijl and a small part of the hamlet of Westend.

BURJ KHALIFA

  Burj Khalifa , Khalifa also spelled  Khalīfah , mixed-use  skyscraper  in  Dubai ,  United Arab Emirates , that is the world’s tallest building, according to all three of the main  criteria  by which such buildings are judged ( see   Researcher’s Note: Heights of Buildings ). Burj Khalifa (“Khalifa Tower”), known during  construction  as Burj Dubai, was officially named to honour the leader of the neighbouring emirate of  Abu Dhabi , Sheikh  Khalifa ibn Zayed Al Nahyan . Although the tower was formally opened on January 4, 2010, the entirety of the interior was not complete at that time. Built to house a variety of commercial, residential, and hospitality ventures, the tower—whose intended height remained a closely guarded secret throughout its construction—reached completion at 162 floors and a height of 2,717 feet (828 metres). BONGEUNSA TEMPLE

  Bongeunsa is a Buddhist temple located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 794 during the reign of King Wonseong by State Preceptor Yeonhoe, then the highest ranking monk of Silla. The temple was originally named Gyeonseongsa. Originally located near the Royal Tomb of King Seongjong, the temple was transferred to its current location during Joseon King Myeongjong’s reign. The temple is home to 3,479 Buddhist scriptures of 13 types, including the works of Kim Jeong-hee. The Buddhist ceremony called Jeongdaebulsa is held on the ninth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, where monks march carrying the scriptures on their heads and recite the Beopseongge (Buddhist rites).

SAN MARTÍN DE LOS ANDES

  San Martín de los Andes  is a city in the south-west of the  province  of  Neuquén , Argentina, serving as the administration centre of the  Lácar Department . Lying at the foot of the  Andes , on the  Lácar lake , it is considered one of the main tourism destinations in the province. [2]  The  National Route 40  runs to the city, connecting it with important touristic points in the south of the province, such as  Lanín  and  Nahuel Huapí  national parks.
